Femke Kaulingfreks appointed to Wibaut Chair

Femke Kaulingfreks has been appointed to the Wibaut Chair at the University of Amsterdam! This chair is designed for research on metropolitan issues with a special focus on the city of Amsterdam. As Principal Investigator of the Practices of Social Justice in Social Work line, Femke is involved in the Crafting Resilience project.

The appointment is for a period of five years. During these years, the Wibaut Chair will focus on the relationship between social groups in Amsterdam and the interaction between government and citizens. In addition, Femke wants to create a collaboration between academics, professionals and citizens of Amsterdam by setting up an institute. This institute will then work with all stakeholders on Amsterdam's challenges and metropolitan issues.

Femke is involved in the Crafting Resilience project as Principal Investigator of the research line 'Practices of social justice in social work'.
