Anouk de Koning Principal Investigator Social Resilience as Political Practice
Anouk de Koning is professor of Power, Politics and the State at the Department of Anthropology at the University of Amsterdam. Her research agenda focuses on the socio-political worlds and futures made in the everyday practice of social policy and social and welfare services.
She currently leads two major research projects (2022-2027), Prototyping Welfare in Europe: Experiments in State and Society (funded by a Vici Grant) and Crafting Resilience: Politics and Practice (funded by a NWA Grant). These projects explore the new socio-political worlds brought into being in welfare experiments in Europe.
